Personal Biography

I am a first year mechanical engineering student at Cal Poly State University. I have completed three quarters of engineering coursework towards an undergraduate degree and plan to graduate the “4+1” program at Cal Poly with a Bachelors and Masters. I live on campus in the engineering dorms and enjoy working with others on projects. I hope to work in the medical device industry upon graduation. I chose Cal Poly because of its small town, outdoor environment and the hands-on courses. My parents are both electrical engineers that taught me to learn from and improve the world around me. I enjoy volunteer work through my church such as annual construction trips to Mexico and visiting the local soup kitchen.
